Sissy Bar
Joe De Vita | November 17, 2010Here’s a pic of a sissy bar that had to be easily removable and we couldn’t have any welding on the frame and drilling into the fender. I just made a few clamps that had rubber inserts attached so that they paint wouldn’t get scratched and were attached with some button head screws.
A small support between the clamps to give it strength and a dog leg on the drive side to keep the size down and have it flow. The top triangle had to be able to give some support to the passenger but the customer wanted the vertical line to flow with the line of his forks and the tip to be the height of the center of the handlebars and have the same flip as his risers. I don’t think it turned out too bad and it looked awesome on the bike.

A closeup.
