“MOTORCYCLE FESTIVAL FUNDRAISER FOR VETERANS” An Active Expression of Community VETERAN SUPPORT through the History of Stripped-Down Hand-Built Custom Motorcycles

This event will have organized rides from Ventura, Venice, Long Beach, and Downtown LA, all descending on the majestic Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, CA.

When fellas returned from WWII they started chopping bikes and creating motorcycle clubs. A lot of time has passed since then, and the chopper scene has evolved quite a bit, but we still have veterans returning from overseas who could use some community support.
There will be an assortment of healing practitioners, prizes, bbq, booze, tattooing, and all sorts of other goodness.

This event is a fundraiser to benefit our Veterans and raise community awareness. Proceeds and donations go to our Veterans through reputable organizations. Live music, motorcycle rides, bikes and hot rods on showcase, vendors, entertainment and food will be plentiful all day.

It’s nearly here! The David Mann Chopperfest will be bigger than ever with loads of bikes, vendors, and fun! Check out our Vindikta booth, and look for our signature red & black!

The 8th annual ChopperFest will be held at the Ventura County Fairgrounds this Sunday, December 11th 2011 from 8am-4pm. ChopperFest is a tribute to David Mann featuring a New and Old Skool Motorcycle Show, Custom Bike Builder Displays, New and Used Parts Swap Meet, Motorcycle Vendors, Art Display, Live Blues Rock Bands, Food and Beer. This signature event gathers together those who honor the lifestyle depicted in David Mann’s artwork and appreciate the many custom “Chopper” designs spawned by his unique imagination. Past participants have included Russell Mitchell, Chica, Dave Perewitz, Keith Ball, Donny Smith, Scott Long and Gard Hollinger. As always, David Mann’s wife Jacquie will fly out from Kansas City to present the “hand crafted and one of a kind Bike Show trophies.” To top it all off, a rare original painting by the master himself will once again grace the event T-Shirts and promotions. A portion of all proceeds will go to the David Mann Memorial Fund.

San Diego Comic Con had two motorcycles on display from upcoming movies, so we thought we’d give our blog readers a sneak peek. The first bike is from the new Men in Black 3 movie, check out the organic looking creation!

This second bike is from the new Ghostrider movie.

We at Vindikta will be attending Born Free to enjoy the show, but we will not be vending this year. Keep an eye out for Juan from Nomad Leather Tooling who will have a booth, he does some of the fantastic leather work seen on bikes we’ve worked on. Born Free is about the love of old motorcycles and like minded individuals having a good time enjoying each others company & these bikes of the past. It is also a family event,young and old a-like are welcome to come out and enjoy the day. The show is meant to unite people from all walks of life by bringing the passion that we all have of these old machines together for one day. If you come out to the event please be prepared to have a great time,enjoy some vintage bikes..lots of vintage bikes in a peaceful friendly family environment. The event site and local law enforcement have a no Patch or Colors policy.

It’s back, the third annual Thy Will Be Done Art Show. This art show was established to showcase individuals in the motorcycle industry who live an artistic lifestyle. This year they have included tattooist and artists from the custom culture industry.

Buy fine art from Paul Cox, Trevelen, Sara Ray, Duane Ballard, Tarrera, Pete “Hot Dog “ Finlan, Jack Rudy, Danny Scholz, David Lozeau, Lathisa Wood, Big Iron Joe, Saign Charlerstein, Kirk Taylor, Danny Sikich, Ron Pogue, Buckwild, Rene, Sonny Boy, Neal Moffett, Tewsr, Alex Atman and Will Thompson. The artists will be on site to discuss their pieces.

There is also a raffle with many one of pieces from the artists as well as the grand prize, a 180 Diversion Tig Welder from Miller Electric.

It’s all happening on June 4, at the Affliction Building, located at 1733 Apollo Court, in Seal Beach, Ca starting at 1:00pm. There will be live music and a hot rod show.

Bike enthusiasts were in hog heaven at the L.A. Convention Center, and Vindikta had a booth there for the first time! A must-see event for bikers and those interested in the two-wheeled hobby, the Easy Riders show features over 100 motorcycles in competition for the title. Judged on a variety of categories, over 30 trophies were given out. In addition to the display of beautiful bikes, there were vendors, food, and the camaraderie of other bike fans! Here’s a glimpse of our booth!
